If you do not wish to use your credit card online you can place an order just select the manual payment option. You will be sent an email with our account details and the total amount to pay, once your payment clears your order will be dispatched. Please use your name in the reference fields. Terms and conditions of purchase
- Minimum layby value is $50
- Minimum 20% deposit applies to all laybys
- Clothing laybys have a term of 6 weeks, all other goods have a layby term of 3 months
- Cancellation fee of $20 applies
- If your layby is over $100 you can have your items delivered to your front door for FREE!
- If you wish to pay by layby, please place your order on the website and choose the manual payment option at check out. Please arrange a deposit at least 20% via bank transfer and use your name as the reference.
100 Days Returns and Refunds Policy
Whether it’s baby sleepwear, clothes or carriers, we want you to be happy with your purchase, and offer a no-fuss returns policy. Not only do we meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act, our aim is to exceed your expectations.
We understand that purchasing online can be difficult and your complete satisfaction is our top priority! If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will gladly accept returns of packages (excludes electrical items and Magnificent Baby FREE returns- please see note below) within 100 days of the sale date with a copy of your receipt.
All we ask is that the product is not used, is in the same condition you received it and is in the original box and/or packaging with tags intact. We do not refund delivery costs (except Magnificent Baby under our FREE returns policy) and if your order qualified for free delivery, we will deduct the delivery amount you would have paid from your refund amount. If we do send you out a replacement or different size, you will be responsible for the delivery. Please ensure your item is well packaged so we receive them back in a perfect, saleable condition. Sorry we can’t accept change of mind on any returns where the item has been used. Bath and health products are not able to be returned.
Note: Breast pumps must be returned unused in their original condition with the factory seal and packaging intact.
You will receive a store credit for sale items or items that have been discontinued from our range.
Please note our 100 days returns policy does not include change of mind electrical items or our Magnificent Baby FREE returns policy. Electrical items can be returned for a store credit only within 30 days of purchase.

Returning a faulty item
You can return a faulty item in the same way you would return any purchase by sending it back to us for repair, replacement or refund. If you receive a damaged item please email email@example.com within 2 days of receiving your goods, please include details of the fault and a photo if possible so we can quickly resolve the problem. Please keep your packaging if you suspect damage by the courier.

Free Returns on Magnificent Baby
To receive your first free returned item from our Magnificent Baby Clothing range:
1. Free Returns apply to the first returned item(s) only from our Magnificent Baby clothing range, within 30 days of purchase.
2. Free Returns are available to delivery addresses anywhere in NZ.
3. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return the Magnificent Baby clothing in new and unworn condition with tags intact for a full refund in accordance with our returns policy. All items must be returned with tags intact and your receipt. Any item(s) returned without original documentation will be rejected. Any items(s) that have been used, damaged or otherwise altered after delivery will not be accepted for return.
4. Magnificent Baby items must be returned using the free supplied trackable courier ticket. We offer two options to return Magnificent Baby:
- CourierPost drop off option: You can drop off your return at any NZPost Shop location of your choice.
- CourierPost pickup option: CourierPost will pick up your return at the address of your choice.
5. Cruisy Baby will process your return and issue a full refund with no deduction for shipping after receiving your returned Magnificent Baby item. If you return product(s) that are ineligible for free returns with your Magnificent Baby item(s) that are eligible for free returns, we may deduct the shipping costs for the ineligible products(s) from your refund amount in accordance with Cruisy Baby’s general returns policy. In addition, some special product, order, or handling fees may still apply.
6. Sale clearance items are not eligible for refund however you can exchange or we can provide a store credit.
What is a backorder or a pre-order?
Backordered items cannot be shipped at the time an order is placed, but will ship at a later date. The expected arrival date is listed on the product page. Please keep in mind that the arrival date is an estimated time frame and is subject to change. To check backorder status, please contact us.
How do I place an order for a backordered item?
It’s as simple as placing an order for an in-stock item! However, do note that payment has to be completed in order to secure a backorder slot.
How do I know when my backordered items are ready to be shipped out?
Once the merchandises have arrived we will send you an email to confirm your order has been dispatched and when to expect your parcel.
What happens when I place an order for a backorder item along with an in-stock item?
The in-stock item will ship with your backordered item promptly after the backorder shipment has arrived.

Our Price Match promise applies to any exact item for sale at Cruisy Baby and any retailer*, whether you find it in a store, in a catalogue or online.
If you would like to Price Match at the point of purchase, please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We will require the retailers name, description of product, website address and the price.
The following conditions apply:
- The Price Match products must be identical (ie same name, model, colour) in stock, new and not damaged.
- Price Match excludes delivery charges, Cruisy Baby delivery charges apply as standard.
- Price Match is product specific and excludes store wide promotions. We will not Price Match multiple discounts only the individual price of the actual product.
- Price Match includes new goods from registered NZ stockists and websites.
- Price Match excludes items sold through auction sites, private sellers, daily deal sites, shopping mall sites (eg, fishpond.co.nz), liquidation sales, clearance sales, warehouse outlets, supplier direct sales, seconds or websites operating or shipping from outside NZ.

Gift vouchers are only redeemable for products shown on the Cruisy Baby website – www.cruisybaby.co.nz and should be treated like cash- they cannot be reissued if lost, stolen or damaged. Gift vouchers must be paid for with credit card or bank deposit and are not to be combined with any discount codes. They are non-returnable or redeemable for cash and cannot be used towards the purchase of another gift voucher. Gift vouchers must be used in ONE transaction only and cannot be split. Change will not be given should the purchase amount be less than the value of the gift voucher. A delivery charge will be applied on the products purchased when redeeming the gift voucher. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and the unused balance will not be refunded or credited by Cruisy Baby. Where the cost of the purchase exceeds the voucher value the voucher holder will be required to make up the difference between the purchase price and the value of the voucher. Gift vouchers must be used prior to the expiry date.
Cruisy Baby Competitions/Giveaways Terms
Entry to a giveaway is free, no purchase is necessary. One entry per person. Open to people living in New Zealand only (sorry). The winner will be drawn at random using a random number generator tool and will be notified by email using the email address provided; and will have 3 calendar days to reply to this email to claim their prize. Competition prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for alternatives, for cash or store credit. Cruisy Baby reserves the right to supply alternate prizes of the same value if due to unforeseen circumstances the advertised prize is not available at time of prize dispatch.
